In a recent report on the unexpected implications of the Internet of Things, Gartner stated that they expect three out of four IoT projects to face schedule extensions of up to 100 percent with consequent cost overruns.
Milcane was recently asked to re-baseline the schedule and project manage delivery for an innovative IoT startup. As part of our engagement, we implemented new processes and improved ways of using existing tools. The result was increased productivity from the team and increased velocity of development. By identifying and highlighting dependencies we were able to mitigate the impact of risk on the project and improve morale and communication between team members.
